Der Pro-Ject A1.2 ist ein vollständig automatischer Plattenspieler, bei dem der Start/Stopp-Mechanismus mechanisch arbeitet und während der Wiedergabe komplett deaktiviert ist, um Klangbeeinträchtigungen zu vermeiden.
Die wichtigsten Neuerungen gegenüber dem Vorgängermodell umfassen eine CNC-gefertigte, massiv-gedrehte Aluminium-Platte für bessere Laufruhe, eine leichtere Tonarmkonstruktion mit neu gestalteter Headshell aus kohlefaserverstärktem Polymer sowie ein ab Werk voreingestellter **Pick it MM E** Tonabnehmer für sofortige Abspielbereitschaft.
- Vollautomatischer Betrieb: Tonarm wird gehoben, aufgesetzt und am Ende zurückgeführt - Motoren werden dabei nach dem Absenken abgekoppelt
- Elegante, resonanzdämpfende Konstruktion mit Holzchassis und Silikonfüßen
- Werksmäßig voreingestellte Auflagekraft und Antiskating - keine weitere Justage notwendig
- Integrierter Phono-Verstärker mit Umschalter (ON/OFF), um wahlweise direkt an Line-Eingänge oder externe MM-Phono-Vorverstärker anzuschließen
