Die optional erhältlichen Seitenteilen verleihen den Pro-Ject DS2 Komponenten ein noch edleres Aussehen. Die Montage erfolgt mittels in den Seitenteilen eingelassenen Magneten.
Reine CD Player sind im Kontrast zu DVD oder Blu-Ray Playern wahre Meister der Wiedergabe von Stereo CDs. CD Box DS2T ist als exklusiver CD Transport gestaltet und sendet digitale "Red Book standard" Signale an externe D/A Wandler, und ist dabei eine echte Koryphäe. Zusätzlich zu qualitativ höchstem Sound, ist ein Laufwerk mit hoher Lebensdauer essenziell für perfekte Wiedergabe, daher befinden sich all unsere CD Laufwerke in einem verwindungsfreien Gehäuse. Unser Servo System erlaubt die Abtastung der CDs in Echtzeit mit minimalstem Jitter. Wir haben uns dazu entschlossen die neue Generation unserer CD Box als reinen Transport zu gestalten, da die Wandlerelektronik und CD Drive im Idealfall voneinander getrennt sind um ein besseres Klangbild zu erzielen. Zusammen mit einem hochwertigen D/A Wandler, wie unserer DAC Box DS2 ultra, wird High End Klang erreicht, wie er nirgendwo anders in dieser Preisklasse gefunden werden kann.
