Der REKKORD F400 ist ein vollautomatischer Subchassis-Plattenspieler, der nicht nur klanglich überzeugt, sondern auch ein echter Hingucker ist. Die gesamte Automatik sowie der Tonarm und der gedämpfte Aluminiumteller sind auf einer schwimmenden Subchassis-Plattform aufgebaut, die vom restlichen Chassis entkoppelt ist. Der F400 verfügt über eine masselose Auflagekraftverstellung, die den Schwerpunkt direkt im Lagerzentrum optimiert. Das automatische System wird von erfahrenen Technikern eingestellt und verfeinert und basiert auf einem hochkomplexen Mechanismus, der traditionell über Jahrzehnte ausgereift und weiterentwickelt wurde. Der vorjustierte hochwertige Ortofon 2M Red Tonabnehmer ist auf einem kohlefaserverstärkten Headshell montiert, welches die perfekte Verbindung zum Alu-Tonarm bietet. Das 2M Red ist ein Allzweck-Tonabnehmer, der einen offenen und dynamischen Klang mit einem leichten Hauch von Wärme liefert. Das Chassis besteht aus MDF und ist in 4 verschiedenen Ausführungen erhältlich: Satinschwarz, Hochglanzschwarz und Echtholzfurniere Kirsche oder Makassar. Kabel, Staubschutzhülle und ein einzelner Adapter werden mit dem Plattenspieler geliefert.
