Philosophy

The enthusiasm for hi-fi grabbed us at the beginning of the 1990s and never let go. We would like to pass on this fascination for the high-quality reproduction of music. The focus is on the satisfaction of our customers. Our aim is to find the best solution and always act in a customer-oriented manner.

History

1992

Founding of Mobil Akustik Handels GmbH in St. Pölten with a focus on mobile communication and hi-fi systems for cars

1998

Reorganization into Mühlbacher & Herbst OEG – in addition to our main focus, we expanded our business area to include home cinema and professional sound reinforcement systems

2002

Relocation of the company headquarters from St. Pölten to Kirchberg an der Pielach - expansion to include the areas of rental and installation of sound, light and media technology

2002

The first online sales are processed via eBay

2005

Our first eBay shop goes online.

2007

Our online shop starts with great success at www.akustik-projekt.at

2012

Entry into the Amazon Marketplace with its own dealer shop as the first company in the industry in Austria.

2020

Founding of Akustik-Projekt MHS GmbH and Akustik-Projekt MHS GmbH & Co KG (reorganization of Mühlbacher & Herbst OG)

2020

Acquisition of an industrial property in Kirchberg for the construction of a warehouse as well as offices and showrooms

2022

Start of construction of the new company building
