Der 7000A ist ein integrierter Vollverstärker mit eingebautem DAC - also Amp und Digital-Analog-Wandler in einem Gerät. Damit eignet er sich hervorragend als Herzstück eines HiFi-Systems, das digitale und analoge Quellen gleichermaßen bedienen soll.
Mit einer Class-AB-Endstufe liefert der 7000A 2 × 70 W an 8 Ohm bzw. 2 × 110 W an 4 Ohm - ausreichend Leistung für viele Lautsprecher. Der integrierte D/A-Wandler basiert auf dem hochwertigen ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M, was auch für digitale Quellen Klangtreue und Detailreichtum verspricht.
Der Verstärker bietet eine breite Palette an Eingängen - analog, digital, PC-USB, HDMI ARC, Bluetooth und Phono (MM) - sowie einen dedizierten Kopfhörer-Verstärker und eine MM-Phonostufe. Zusätzlich gibt es ein übersichtliches 2,8" Farb-IPS-Display, mit dem man u.a. Eingänge, Format-Infos oder VU-Meter im Blick hat.
