Der 7000N Play ist ein Netzwerk-/Streaming-Player und Teil der neuen 7000er Serie von Audiolab. Er ist konzipiert, um moderne Streaming-Quellen, Internetradio oder Netzwerk-Bibliotheken direkt in ein HiFi-System einzubinden - kabellos über WLAN oder klassisch über Ethernet.
Als DAC kommt ein hochwertiger ESS Technology Sabre ES9038Q2M-Chip zum Einsatz, was eine hohe Klangtreue und eine Auflösung von bis zu 24-Bit / 192 kHz ermöglicht. Damit ist der 7000N Play bestens geeignet für hochwertiges Hi-Res Audio.
Der Player verfügt über ein 2,8" IPS-LCD-Display mit grafischer Benutzeroberfläche, das Informationen wie Streaming-Service, Format, Ordnerstruktur oder Titelinformationen anzeigt - optional mit VU-Meter-Darstellung. Bedienung erfolgt sowohl direkt am Gerät als auch via App (für Smartphones/Tablets/PC) oder mitgelieferter Fernbedienung.
Streaming erfolgt über das DTS Play-Fi-System, unterstützt wird zudem Apple AirPlay 2. Der 7000N Play ist somit Multiroom-fähig und kompatibel mit einer Vielzahl von Streamingdiensten und Netzwerkquellen.
