Das Audioquest Sub-A minimiert Verzerrungen durch Verwendung identischer, massiver LGC-Leiter (Long Grain Copper, d.h. Kupfer mit einer längsgeordneten Molekularstruktur)für das Plus- und Massesignal. Massive Leiter verhindern Verzerrungen, wie sie bei verdrillten Leitern durch Interaktion der Einzeladern auftreten. Die einfachere Molekularstruktur und größere Reinheit von LGC-Leitern ermöglichen ein bedeutend klareres Klangerlebnis im Vergleich zu normalen OFHC-Leitern. Die goldbeschichteten Stecker mit hoher Leitfähigkeit sind mit speziellem AQ-Lot verbunden.
