Der DAC Box RS Final Edition ist die letzte Version des beliebten High-End DACs von Pro-Ject, optimiert mit sorgfältig ausgewählten Komponenten und verbesserter interner Verkabelung. Zwei speziell ausgewählte Diamond ECC88 Röhren sind Teil der Edition und bringen eine klangliche Verfeinerung in der Röhrenstufe.
Der DAC fungiert als Referenzgerät für digitale Quellgeräte und kann als hochwertiges USB-Interface für HD-Audio vom Computer eingesetzt werden. Er unterstützt eine breite Palette von Eingängen - darunter USB, AES/EBU, optisch, koaxial und I²S mit Master-Clock. DSD128 und PCM bis 24/192 kHz werden vollständig unterstützt.
Besonders flexibel ist die Wahl zwischen einer warm klingenden Röhrenausgabe und einer detaillierten, dynamischen Class-A Transistorausgabe. Beide Ausgangsstufen sind vollbalanciert ausgeführt und zeichnen sich durch extrem geräuscharme und lineare Schaltung aus.
