Pro-Ject erobert das Einsteigersegment der "Kunststoffklasse" mit einer hochwertigen Alternative, die komplett mit Arm und Tonabnehmer von Ortofon ausgeliefert wird. Der neue Elemental Phono USB ist "plug'n'play" durch und durch. Keine mühsame Montage von Gegengewicht oder Antiskating ist notwendig, da alles bereits voreingestellt ist. Der neue massearme Tonarm ist speziell für die ebenfalls vormontierten Ortofon OM-Tonabnehmer optimiert. Alles was der Käufer tun muss, ist Auspacken, Plattenteller-Transportsicherung entfernen, Riemen um den Teller legen, den Nadelschutz entfernen und Hifi-System und Computer anschließen. Hier ist nur der Nadelschutz aus Plastik!
Das Klanggeheimnis dieses Plattenspielers jedoch ist der zentrale Massepunkt aus Kunststein, der direkt unter dem Plattenteller angebracht ist. Er absorbiert wirkungsvoll Vibrationen von Motor und Tellerlager. Dieser Plattenspieler verkörpert ein Höchstmaß an
