Nur selten kommt es vor, dass ein aufregendes neues Produktdesign neue Maßstäbe in der Leistung innerhalb einer bestimmten Preisklasse setzt. Ein Beispiel hierfür ist der brandneue StellarGold DAC, ein Produkt, das die Messlatte für alle Digital-Analog-Wandler in dieser Preisklasse höher legt.
Was den neuen StellarGold DAC so einzigartig macht, ist die Verwendung mehrerer paralleler DACs. Jeder Kanal des StellarGold besteht aus vier parallel geschalteten hochauflösenden Digital-Analog-Wandlern, deren kombinierte Ausgabe in eine völlig neue diskrete analoge Ausgangsstufe der Klasse A eingespeist wird. Die Ergebnisse sind schlichtweg atemberaubend. Die Verwendung mehrerer hochpräziser DACs zur Bildung eines ultralinearen Kanals hat den Vorteil, Rauschen und Kanalübersprechen zu reduzieren und gleichzeitig Linearität, Dynamikumfang und Auflösung über das hinaus zu steigern, was mit jeder einzelnen DAC-Technologie erreicht werden kann.
