Der Cambridge CXC wurde speziell für die neue CX-Reihe entwickeit. Er bietet umwerfende Wiedergabe von CDs und funktioniert perfekt zusammen mit den integrierten Verstärkern CXA6O und CXA8O von Cambridge oder anderen High-End-DACs.
Das Herz des CXC ist das legendäre 'S3' Servo-Design. Entwickelt, um die digitalen Daten einer CD mit seiner modernsten Fehlerkorrektur effzient auszulesen, bietet er ihnen Genuss pur. Da können Mehrzweck-Blu-ray-Player einfach nicht mithalten.
Da der CXC über keinen eigenen Digital-Analog-Wandler verfügt, gibt er das Signal in digitaler Form aus und wenn er in Verbindung mit einem Verstärker der CX-Reihe verwendet wird, übernimmt der hochwertige Wolfson DAC im CXA die kritische Konvertierung in ein Analogsignal.
