Als optionales Zubehör für den DALI Phantom K-60 gibt es die Backbox. Diese schütz den Lautsprecher vor Feuchtigkeit, Staub und Schmutz. Darüber hinaus sorgt die Backbox für eine gleichbleibende Klangqualität, auch wenn die akustischen Voraussetzungen in den Einbauöffnungen hinter den Wänden bzw. Decken ungleichmäßig sind. Gleichzeitig ist gewährleistet, dass keine Schallanteile in den Hohlräumen verloren gehen.
