Der brandneue Elicit MK5 Stereo-Vollverstärker wurde nach höchsten Standards entwickelt und gebaut. Der neue MK5 ist im neuesten kundenspezifischen Gehäuse untergebracht, das zum Rest der Rega-Reihe passt, und baut auf früheren Rega-Designs auf, indem er die mehrfach preisgekrönte Klasse-A/B-Leistungsverstärkerschaltung verwendet, um leistungsstarke 105 W pro Kanal an 8-Ω-Lasten zu liefern (127 W an 6 Ω). Die Rega Ingenieure haben eine neue Rega-DAC-Schaltung entwickelt, die digitale Konnektivität und eine bessere Integration mit einer Vielzahl anderer Produkte bietet. Dabei wurde große Sorgfalt darauf verwendet, eine hochwertige MM-Phonostufe einzubauen, und der Kopfhörereingang wurde so konfiguriert, dass die Lautsprecherumschaltung durch das Ausgangs-Mute-Relais durchgeführt wird, um den Signalweg nicht zu behindern.
