Bei der Entwicklung des Isis war es ein wichtiges Ziel das vorhandene digitale Signal ohne interne Verstärkung innerhalb des Konverters in ein analoges zu wandeln. Zum Einsatz kommen im Isis diskrete Class-A Operationsverstärker und Filter. In der analogen Sektion arbeiten zwei Burr PCM 1794 Digital-Analog-Konverter im Doppel-Mono-Aufbau. Diese Kombination garantiert einen außergewöhnlich hohen Dynamikumfang, niedrige Verzerrungen und ein lineares Signal. Um die Digital-Analog-Stufe durch einen Computer zu nutzen, besitzt der Isis auch einen USB-Eingang mit einer separaten, doppelt-getakteten Schnittstelle. Der USB-Anschluss profitiert außerdem von einer galvanischen Trennung zur Hauptschaltung, dies unterbindet den Fluss von Erdungsstrom zwischen dem CD Player und dem Computer.
In der Produktion werden jeweils 3 identische Laser-Einheiten gefertigt. Eine findet Verwendung im ausgelieferten Isis, die beiden anderen werden mit der Seriennummer markiert und archiviert. Ein Beitrag zur Produktlanglebigkeit.
