Der neu entwickelte Röhren-Isis hat die identischen Digital- und USB-Sektionen wie der „normale“ Isis.
Die analoge Ausgangsstufe basiert jedoch auf Röhrentechnologie.
Hier kommen 2 nach Militär-Spezifikation ausgewählte 5814A (ECC82) Trioden, angetrieben durch den revolutionären Wolfson WM8741 High-Performance Digital-Analog-Wandler, zum Einsatz. Zwei ECC82 (6DJ8/6922) Trioden befinden sich in der Transformator Treiberstufe.
Der Isis Valve erreicht mit gut produzierten CDs eine so harmonische, musikalische Wiedergabe, so klar und präzise aber auch so warm und rund, wie man sie von einem CD-Player selten gehört hat.
In der Produktion werden jeweils 3 identische Laser-Einheiten gefertigt. Eine findet Verwendung im ausgelieferten Isis, die beiden anderen werden mit der Seriennummer markiert und archiviert. Ein Beitrag zur Produktlanglebigkeit
