Der Rega Naia-Plattenspieler ist das Ergebnis jahrelanger sorgfältiger Entwicklung, die zur Entwicklung des mittlerweile berühmten Prüfstand-Plattenspielers 1ENaiad 1C genutzt wurde. Der Naia nutzt das Beste aus dieser Entwicklung und Technologie und überträgt es kompromisslos in eine serienreife Version. Der Naia ist vollgepackt mit bahnbrechenden Funktionen, Materialien und Technologien, die Rega über viele Jahre hinweg entwickelt hat, um ein neues Niveau der Vinylwiedergabe zu erreichen.
Der Naia bringt unsere bahnbrechende Sockeltechnologie mit geringer Masse und hoher Steifigkeit auf die nächste Stufe, indem er einen mit Graphen imprägnierten Kohlefaser-Skelettsockel mit Tancast 8-Schaumkern verwendet. Diese extrem steife Struktur wird dann durch zwei keramische Aluminiumoxidstreben weiter verstärkt, das gleiche Material, das auch für die neu gestaltete, resonanzgesteuerte Keramikplatte mit verbessertem Schwungradeffekt und komplexem Profil verwendet wurde.
