Der AD-850-SE ist ein kombinierter Kassetten- und CD-Player, der auch auf USB-Flash-Laufwerke aufnehmen kann und über eine Mikrofonbuchse mit Echo-Funktion verfügt, die für Karaoke verwendet werden kann.
Neben der Aufnahme von CDs, Kassetten und externen Eingabegeräten auf USB-Flash-Laufwerke (als MP3-Dateien) können CDs, MP3-Dateien auf USB-Flash-Laufwerken und externen Eingabegeräten auch auf Kassettenbänder aufgenommen werden. Die aufgenommenen Dateien werden je nach Quelle (CD, LINE oder TAPE) in automatisch erstellten Ordnern auf USB-Flash-Laufwerken gespeichert, was eine einfache Umwandlung von digital zu analog ohne Computer ermöglicht.
